Popsical, the smartest karaoke streaming system from Mediapreneur startup Charaku, has started to expand its presence regionally, following its great reception in Singapore.
From the early days when it raised $72,000 from Kickstarter, Popsical has now crossed S$1 million in revenue within its first year of operations in 2017. It is now riding on this momentum to grow regionally.
"Karaoke is a national hobby for many people in Asia. Everyone loves to sing! We believe Popsical will lead to renewed interest in karaoke, and give people greater opportunities to bond with their friends and family in the comfort of their own homes", commented Khairah Rahim, the Marketing Director of Popsical.
Since 7th April 2018, Popsical has expanded its footprint beyond Singapore, with the launch of its ecommerce website in Malaysia. It will be establishing retail stores throughout Malaysia, starting with Kuala Lumpur in 2018. Malaysians can now purchase Popsical via popsical.com/my, and enjoy nationwide free delivery.
Beyond Malaysia, Popsical seeks to establish itself globally, and will be launching in several other markets in the near future.
Popsical also remains active in its home market, Singapore, and has recently partnered with local telecommunication companies, Singtel and My Republic to offer special co-promotions to their broadband customers. It will also be multiplying its distribution channels throughout Singapore.
To promote the joy of singing, Popsical will also extend its line of singing competitions in 2018, through partnerships with corporations and its own annual nationwide singing competition, Popsical Karaoke Sing-Off 2018 in Our Tampines Hub in July 2018.
